A Wells Fargo client who suffers from multiple medical issues claims to have lost thousands after being the victim of a fraud scam.

Rosenberg claims he has never written a check or authorized anyone else to take money from his Wells Fargo bank account.
I was frustrated and angry. “I was angry and frustrated. It cost me all of my savings… I felt hurt .”
Wells Fargo responded to his request for help by saying that they would investigate the matter.
They put it under investigation… An investigation could last forever. They told me .”
Rosenberg claims that he received a letter denying the fraud allegation because the reporting period of 60 days had passed before he notified Wells Fargo.
David Satin’s, Rosenberg’s nephew, claims that copies of the check show the forgery clearly.
Satin says that he also spoke to Wells Fargo in order to dispute the fraud claim denied, stating that the 90 year old is not able to manage his affairs.
“I returned to them and said, Wait a minute. He’s 90. He has a bit of dementia. He’s deaf. He’s unable to walk. He has skin cancer. You guys are doing nothing to help him. .”
ABC7 contacted Wells Fargo to find out more about Rosenberg’s claim. Wells Fargo reverted its decision in an email sent to ABC7 and stated that it would make Rosenberg entire.
After working with Mr. Rosenberg and his Power of Attorney and reviewing more information, it is our pleasure to announce that the money will be returned to his account.
