Bitget, a global crypto exchange, brought Web3 activities to Barcelona’s Catalunya Grand Prix from September 5 to 7. The event included racing simulators, games and rewards. It was another step in Bitget’s growing partnership.
Fan Booth at Circuit
Bitget installed a 360° fan booth at the Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya. Visitors waited in line to try out a MotoGP simulator, take part in digital challenges and take photos with real racing cars. The booth brings together motorsport fans and crypto culture with immersive activities.

The “Smarter Speed Challenge with Jorge Lorenzo”
The launch of Bitget’s Smarter Speed Challenge was a major highlight, as it was introduced by former MotoGP champion Jorge Lorenzo. The campaign is a virtual racing minigame that runs through mid-November.
Participants competed online, collected leaderboard point, and unlocked rewards. Rewards include cash, coupons and MotoGP VIP passes.
The top winner of the Catalunya competition received a trip to Singapore in October, where he will meet Lorenzo.
Partnerships with Motorsport Figures
Bitget worked with renowned motorsport figures and creators of content to extend its presence outside the racetrack. They included MotoGP commentator Nico Abad and former rider RubenXaus as well as Rotren and Ubietoo.
Fans who attend these events are eligible for giveaways including tickets to future races, entry to the MotoGP 2025 virtual championship and opportunities to meet motorsport celebrities.
Gracy Chen, Bitget’s chief operating officer, said that the initiative reflects a shared passion between MotoGP and Bitget. “The spirit MotoGP is about pushing limits, mentally, physically, and emotionally. Chen said that Bitget is driven by the same spirit.
The company said the Catalunya was designed to make digital finances more engaging, while still remaining connected to real-world fan interests.
The Catalunya event is notable for its appearance following earlier appearances at the Italian Grand Prix and German Grand Prix. Bitget will keep fans engaged with the Smarter Speed Challenge until mid-November by offering daily check-ins and virtual laps as well as prize opportunities.
