CELH Stock Price: Key Drivers
The Celsius stock is on the rise for a number of reasons. The company has recently completed the $1.8 billion purchase of Alani.
Alani produces premium energy drinks and supplements. The company is expected to make over $605 million by 2024, with an EBITDA adjusted of $88 millions.
The majority of the company’s revenue is from energy drinks. Other products include shakes, snacks, pre-workouts and other supplements. Alani is a way for Celsius to reach out more women customers, which make up the majority of their clients.
In 2024, Celsius Holdings had combined revenue of 1,96 billion dollars and an income margin of 12 percent. It is estimated that the deal will yield annualized synergies of approximately $50,000,000.
The deal is expected to help Celsius return to growth. According to the most recent results, Celsius sales fell by 7% during Q1 of this year. This equates to $329.9 million. The company had been growing at double-digit rates in recent months.
The biggest decline was in North America where revenues dropped 10%, to $306 millions. The 41% increase in international sales to $22.8 millions offset this slowdown.
The profits of Celsius Holdings also fell, as the net income dropped by 43% and the diluted earnings per share (EPS) to 15 cents.
The analysts expect that the purchase of Alani will boost Celsius Holdings’ revenue by 58% to $636m in this quarter. The growth in revenue will result in an increase of 2,18 billion dollars this year and 2,66 billion dollars next.
