Emerging indicators suggest Bitcoin may be at the start of a bull-cycle.
Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world by volume, has confirmed its status as a hub for Bitcoin trading, despite the rising geopolitical uncertainty and macroeconomic instability. The crypto exchange maintains dominance in BTC Spot Trading with $1.43billion in trading volume. This is more than twice its nearest competitor Crypto.com which traded $673m in BTC on March 22, 2026.
BTC Momentum Whale Inflow: 11-Year Record
Bitcoin’s momentum inflow ratio reached a 11-year high. This indicates that holders are still steadfast despite a general decline in crypto prices due to increased geopolitical tensions. This indicator tracks the rate at which large holders are driving inflows.
A peak inflow of capital at extreme momentum is indicative of a massive acceleration in the flow of capital into exchanges, compared to historical norms.
The current situation is unique in that it is characterized by a high capital velocity, especially among large Bitcoin holders. According to a CryptoQuant Analyst, it is an “anomaly” that suggests a high-volume, active phase of capital redistribution, hedging and price volatility.
Whales are accumulating Bitcoin
It is important to note that the BTC balance has decreased by approximately 70,000 coin in the last month. This is a sign of an ongoing accumulation. Bitcoins are being moved to cold storage and away from platforms that allow them to be easily traded or liquidated. In the past, significant drops in exchange values often signaled an upward trend.
Bitcoin, meanwhile, soared over 6.5% Monday after rebounding off support at $67.435. According to TradingView data, the cryptocurrency has risen above the critical $70,000 resistance and is currently trading at $71,025 as of the time of writing.
Technical analysts have identified indicators that suggest Bitcoin is in the early stages a reversal to the upside, notably the formation of higher bottoms on the daily timeframe. The cryptocurrency must break above the $76,000 level of resistance, which it tested just seven days ago, in order to boost confidence that bullish momentum is returning.
