Avelacom has expanded its operations to Mexico and the United States, so Avelacom already scheduled The Panama Blockchain Week in 2025.

LATAM prepares for an exciting new event, as Panama gets ready to host a ‘Panama Blockchain Week” from April 22, 2025 to 24th at the Panama Convention Center.

The gathering will bring together global leaders, startups and blockchain experts eager to explore the ways in which blockchain is transforming industries such as business, banking and logistics.

This event is a great opportunity to promote Panama as an important player in the world of blockchain.

Fernando Molina is the head of Blockchain Territory, and a member of the organizing committee. He said that Panama dreams big of being the hub for blockchain innovations in the Americas.

Molina told Cointelegraph that “it’s about encouraging some old-fashioned collaboration between old-school industry and newcomers”.

This initiative will include some high-profile participants, including Panama’s President Jose Raul Mulino.

Montse Guardia is a blockchain expert and AI specialist with a lot of experience.

Also, the financial experts Mariano Giralt & Belisario Casillo are on hand to discuss how cutting edge and traditional technologies can work together.

Avelacom expands its market reach in the US and Mexico

Avelacom has taken serious steps to improve its network, and ensure that the financial markets of Mexico and the U.S. have more connectivity than ever.

The KIO Data Centres in Mexico, as well as 165 Halsey Street in New York have been adding to their existing infrastructure.

They’ve also created new routes with low latency to meet the demand of cross-border trade.

The network of financial institutions is not only fast, but also reliable. This is important during high-stakes moments.

Avelacom CEO Lorenz Voss is looking ahead to 2025 when market volatility will likely increase. He wants faster and more reliable connections.

This challenge will be tackled by the company investing in advanced fibre systems, submarine cables and other technologies until 2024.

Aleksey Larichev is another Avelacom executive who pointed out the clients’ competitive advantage can be sharpened with these upgrades.

No matter where you are, it doesn’t matter if they’re trading stocks, bonds or anything else. They can take advantage of market opportunities fast.

Binance extends its global cryptocurrency license to Brazil, the 21st in total

Binance, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, has just received its 21st licence, from Brazil’s Central Bank.

Brazil is making strides in regulating the rapidly growing crypto industry.

Binance has been given the green light to acquire Sim;paul. This Sao Paulo based platform deals with securities and electronic currency.

Binance has a lot to gain from this acquisition, as Brazil is the most populous country in Latin America.

Binance, by integrating Sim;paul can provide a wider variety of services and become a one stop shop for investors.

Binance announced that they had approved the application and reported an incredible trading volume of $18,2 billion for 24 hours.

Messari reports that Bybit’s closest competitor, Bybit saw only $6.3 billion.

Binance’s global dominance goes beyond Brazil.
