A suspect has been arrested for the Charlie Kirk murder

Tyler Robinson, 22, has been arrested by Utah authorities as a suspect in Charlie Kirk’s murder.

This arrest is the result of a comprehensive investigation that included digital evidence, such as Robinson’s Discord message and video surveillance.

Robinson has been accused of killing Kirk at an event held on Wednesday by Utah Valley University, in which Kirk died from a single shot to the neck.

Spencer Cox, the Governor of Texas confirmed that Robinson’s relative contacted law enforcement when the suspect suggested involvement.

Robinson, an ex-student of Utah State University, is facing charges, including murder. Near the crime scene, officials say they recovered a bolt-action high-powered rifle that is believed to have been the murder weapon.

Donald Trump (who called Kirk his son) said with a “high degree of certainty”, that Kirk had been captured, and urged that Robinson be given the death penalty.

Amazon and Google are being investigated by the US Federal Trade Commission over their practices in search advertising. The FTC is looking into whether they misled consumers about terms and pricing.

This major project will be a partnership between the two technology giants and London-based Nscale Global Holdings, a data center operator.

G7 urges to take on Russia’s allies

The US Treasury wants G7 allies and European Union members to increase tariffs on Chinese and Indian imports to reduce their purchase of Russian oil. This is to cut funds supporting Russia’s conflict in Ukraine.

A G7 emergency finance meeting has been convened in order to increase pressure on Moscow.

Donald Trump has already placed a tariff of 50% on Indian products, in part as retaliation for the purchases. This is souring trade negotiations.

Due to the sensitive nature of trade relationships, China has not been subjected to any further tariffs.
