Three under-the-radar altcoin projects outpaced the rest of the digital asset sector in terms of recent network growth, according to the crypto analytics firm Santiment.
Santiment measures growth by calculating the network’s number of new wallets created.
Cap (CAP), a covered credit application, tops the analytics firm’s list, with 800% week-over-week network growth. The decentralized finance (DeFi) project utilizes a digital dollar, a credit platform and a financial guarantee market to underwrite individual loans.
The CAP token is trading at $0.09586 at time of writing, per data from CoinGecko. The 225th-ranked crypto asset by market cap is up 30% in the past week.
Second on Santiment’s list is Grass (GRASS), which witnessed 699% week-over-week network growth.
Grass is a network that lets users earn rewards for sharing unused internet bandwidth. The GRASS token, the 112th-ranked crypto asset by market cap, is trading at $0.7886 at time of writing and is up more than 2% in the past week.
In third place is Starknet (STRK), which saw network growth of 469%. Starknet is a ZK execution layer that aims to scale Ethereum (ETH).
The STRK token is trading at $0.09367 at time of writing. The 96th-ranked crypto asset by market cap is up nearly 77% in the past seven days.
