If conditions turn bullish, an analyst who correctly predicted the bottom of the cryptomarket in 2022 thinks that a large-capital digital asset would be the fastest horse.
The analyst DonAlt, who is known by the pseudonym DonAlt on the TechnicalRoundup YouTube Channel, told 66,000 of its subscribers that he believed XRP had more upside potential than other crypto assets such as Ethereum (ETH) and might outperform them.
I’m an XRP enthusiast in that, generally speaking, I believe the price of XRP will go up.
It’s my favorite. Since [it’s price] was $0.60, I have said this. It’s my opinion that it is the coin best suited to capturing altcoin success during this market cycle .”
At the time this article was written, XRP traded at around $2.30, an increase of approximately 342% compared to its November 1, 2024 value of $0.52.
However, the pseudonymous expert says that, while XRP has a higher upside potential, Ethereum would be a more suitable crypto asset during a recession.
But if the market rises, XRP will outperform ETH. If the market rises, XRP .” will outperform.
Ethereum’s price is currently $1,900, down 31% from its November 1, 2024 value of $2,500.
Bitcoin (BTC) is next. The pseudonymous expert said that Bitcoin’s rebound after it fell to $76,600 this week was “good”, but any further corrections to the downside could signal a more bearish trend.
“We bounced a lot before the support [at a little below $72,000], and I think that’s good. I don’t think we should trade under $80,000 too much. If we test $70,000 again, I think that is a sign of extreme weakness. It’s much more difficult to recover from that .”
Bitcoin currently trades at $84,319 as of the time this article was written.
