The couple, a married Texas couple, was convicted for masterminding the multimillion dollar pyramid scheme which promised huge returns within a short time.
A new release by the U.S. Department of Justice reveals that LaShonda Moore and Marlon Moor operated an illegal scheme to target victims of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Documents from the court reveal that, between June 2020 to June 2021,the Moores recruited their victims by falsely promising 800% returns in a matter of weeks on initial investments. They were also guaranteed a full refund if unhappy.
Blessings In No Time (BINT) was the company that they claimed would allow people to give money and get 8x as much back within a matter of weeks. The Moores’ business was structured in four levels. Each level asked people to help them move up, earn more money from those below, then placed themselves at the top and received the most funding.
According to a press release, they victimized more than 10,000 participants and extracted $25 million.

Each of them was convicted on one count of conspiracy of committing wire fraud and five counts each of wire fraud and money laundering. They face a prison sentence of decades.
