Morgan Creek Capital’s chief investment officer reveals his five top altcoin picks for the coming year.
Mark Yusko, in a recent interview with the Altcoin Daily YouTube Channel, reveals his favorite tokens. These include prominent smart contract platforms Solana(SOL)and Cardano(ADA).
The list also includes XRP (the digital asset linked to RippleLabs), the meme currency Dogecoin, and the layer-1 blockchain Hedera.
“I have to admit that I’ve grown to love Solana.” The guys did a great job of convincing me. And, you know, we haven’t sold our last bag, and the price has gone up from $13 or so to $240.
Yusko continues to state that if he were to have “money to loose,” he would bet on ADA XRP and HBAR, as some traditional financial firms (TradFi world) may adopt crypto assets in order to avoid being left behind.
If I were to have money I would be willing to risk – as I believe you can literally lose your life savings – then I’d buy a small amount of [ADA, HBAR and XRP]…
Could I imagine a future where incumbents, who don’t wish to lose their position tomorrow, say “You know what?” Depending on the outcome of this czar and other stuff? We’ll either use Hedera or XRP and be crypto. ‘”
Yusko concludes with DOGE and says that not having the meme’s top token would be a wager against Elon Musk, a billionaire.
Don’t gamble against Elon. DOGE is probably not the stupidest thing on the planet. It was not the stupidest thing in the world.
