Jackson.io, a decentralized gaming protocol, has launched its offline streetwear project “Sharkz Up Tokyo” in Tokyo’s Harajuku District.
The Sharkz Community’s first foray into fashion is based on street culture, which has been used to extend the Sharkz global brand.
This event, co-created by tHE Gallery Harajuku, a Tokyo based street culture brand and creative arts company, reinterpreted the Sharkz NFTs visual identity through the lense of Japanese street designs to create a limited edition Harajuku apparel collection. The event is open to all, whether you are a Sharkz NFT owner or fashion lover.
NFT owners who present proof of ownership on the day of event will receive 50% off of all merchandise.
From Sharkz on the Chain to Cultural Frontlines
Sharkz NFT, since its conception in 2013, has worked to be one of Web3’s most creative and vibrant projects. In the last three months it hosted multiple offline large-scale events in Southeast Asia. This included the largest NFT Afterparty held by the Sui Ecosystem, in collaboration with OKX Wallet. It featured interactive real-time airdrops, and attracted widespread participation. Since then, the community has grown to more than 10,000 users.
The event “Sharkz-Up Tokyo”, which took place in Tokyo, marked a milestone for Sharkz. It symbolized the expansion of Sharkz into new territories: on-chain fashion to off-chain. Jackson.io hopes to utilize this physical activation as a way to start a new chapter for the integration of NFTs with street culture.

Jackson Sharkz, a set of NFTs with a shark theme, was launched as a community-wide distribution program. Over 10,000 people participated in the launch within just three days. This shows that there is a strong appeal amongst community members.
