Google has announced several other AI solutions in addition to its new AI model. These include the Agent Development Kit (ADVK), an open-source software toolkit which makes building AI agents easier.
These digital agents can be used to streamline routine tasks, such as customer service, marketing, or programming. It will take “less than one hundred lines of code” for the agent to be developed.
Agent2Agent is a standard that allows AI assistants and human workers to collaborate.
The New Chip
Google also announced that it will be expanding its efforts in order to manufacture its own chips. The new Ironwood 7th-generation processor was designed for complex AI models.
Google Cloud users can expect the launch to take place in 2025. It is available in two different configurations, a cluster of 256 chips and one with 9,216.
Ironwood is the most energy efficient, powerful and performant TPU. Amin Wahdat, Google Cloud’s Vice President noted that it was designed to be scalable for inferential AI and thinking models.
Ironwood can provide 4,614 TFLOPs at its peak. The dedicated RAM on each chip is 192 GB with a bandwidth of 7.4 Tbps.
It features a SparseCore, a data processor that is specialized. Google says its architecture was designed to reduce information flow and chip latency in order to conserve power.
AI Models Updated
Vertex AI, the company’s cloud-based platform for content generation AI models, has been updated.
- Lyria’s text-to music model is now available to a small number of users.
- Veo 2 Video Generator has new visual effects and editing capabilities.
- Imagen 3 Image Generator provides “significantly higher” performance.
- The corporation has also developed a feature for voice cloning based on Chirp 3 – a sound model.
Lyria can be used as an alternative for music libraries. Users can create music in a variety of styles and genres.
Chirp 3 can synthesize speech in 35 different languages. Instant Custom Voice is included, and it can clone a voice from ten seconds of recording. This mode is subjected to a “thorough testing” procedure in order to verify “proper authorizations”.
Veo 2 now allows you to edit the camera angle, tempo, and background objects in your videos. ;
Imagen 3 has improved its ability to repair images and remove damaged objects. ;
Workspace
Google has updated its Workspace cloud-based tool suite to enhance the productivity of AI powered services.
Addition of Flows to automate complex processes such as updating spreadsheets or searching information within documents. Gems can be used to create chatbots, and Google Drive integration is available for retrieving data.
Yuli Kim, Vice President of Product at Google Workspace, wrote: “You can describe your needs in simple terms and Workspace Flows creates complex and logically driven flows.”
Google Docs soon will be able to convert your drafts into podcast style reviews. This feature, “Help Me Refine”, will improve structure and strengthen arguments.
Google Sheets now has a new “Help Me Analyze button” that makes recommendations, identifies trends and helps create interactive charts.
Google Meet is adding a new tool, “Make Notes For Me”, to summarize and repeat specific topics during video calls.
Reddit and Samsung form a partnership
Samsung has announced that its Ballie robot will now feature Google’s Gemini AI. This is thanks to a Google Cloud partnership. The chatbot will allow users to get answers for a variety of questions.

Reddit also announced the expansion of its partnership with Google. Reddit Answers, the platform’s AI-powered search tool, has been updated thanks to Gemini integration. Users are reportedly able to improve their search results and relevancy.
In March of this year, Google introduced a family “reasoning AI” models named Gemini 2.5.
