Peanut the Squirrel, a meme coin based in Solana (PNUT), also soared. The token was up by more than 20 percent as it recovered after recent losses and reached a low of $0.02.

It reached intraday highs as low as $0.35.
The XRP rate has risen to levels not seen since April 2021. It reached highs of $1.77, and buyers are now aiming for the $2 key level.
Since Trump’s victory in early November, the Ripple token is booming.
It gained new momentum when SEC Chairman Gary Gensler, who announced that he would be leaving the agency in January 2025, announced his resignation.
In the last 24 hours, XRP has risen by 14%.
XRP’s price has risen by more than 220% over the last 30 days.

Other cryptocurrencies that have seen significant gains over the last 24 hours are Theta Network, EOS, Hedera, and MultiversX.
EOS rose to $0.91, as bulls aimed to return to the April 2024 peak above $1.
