Bitcoin was trading below $85K, and other coins such as XRP or ETH were also showing a muted price movement.

Global cryptocurrency market capitalization is now $2.66 trillion. This represents a 0.29% decrease over the last 24 hours.

The total market volume for the same time period was $71.13 Billion, which is a decrease of 1.24%.

Market sentiment remains cautious in the face of ongoing tariff uncertainty.

Investors are still unsure about the timing and extent of any new trade restrictions.

CoinGecko’s Q1 Crypto Industry Report reveals that the cryptocurrency market cap dropped by 18.6% during the first quarter. This erased $633.5 Billion after it peaked on January 18 – just before US President Donald Trump’s inauguration.

This decline in trading volume was also matched by the 27.3% drop quarter-onquarter.

Bitcoin’s market share increased, but its price fell by 11.8% during the same time period.

Gold and US Treasuries underperformed the asset for the quarter.

Bitcoin was trading at $84,688.03, an increase of 0.39% over the last 24 hours.

The 24-hour range of the coin is between $83,314 to $85,428.28.

Bitcoin market dominance has dropped 0.05% since the previous day to 63.11%.

Bitcoin’s recent slump coincided with a withdrawal of $171 million from Bitcoin ETFs.

Data from Farside shows that the selling halted the positive week-start, which saw ETFs add $1.5 million Monday, and $76.4 millions on Tuesday.

In the past, ETF withdrawals at times of price increases have often preceded significant drops in Bitcoin’s price.
