Ford Motor Company (F)
Ford Motors is yet another company that has a high yield in the S&P 500 Index. Its stock price dropped by around 50% since its peak. The crash of Ford Motor has been similar to that of traditional automakers due to a poor reception for its electric cars. Dividend yield is 7.7%
Ford is now refocusing its EV plans and concentrating mainly on hybrids, ICEs and ICE-powered vehicles. In its most recent financial results, Ford’s revenue increased by 5% and its adjusted EBIT increased to $2.6 Billion. Stocks may begin to recover this year, as rates are continuing to fall.
Altria MO
Altria, another company with a high yield in the S&P 500 Index. This tobacco company has paid dividends for many years. This is because tobacco companies generate large sums of cash and then return it to their shareholders.
