Santiment has ranked the ERC-20 coins based on recent development activities and a relatively new layer-2 scaling option for Ethereum (ETH).
Starknet, a crypto-analytics firm, has logged 401.97 notable GitHub activities in the last 30 days.
Starknet, also known as zero-knowledge rollup (ZK), is a decentralized validation rollup. Rollups allow transactions to be executed outside the Ethereum blockchain, but still record transactional information. The token was launched in February.
STRK was trading at $0.455 when this article was written. The market capitalization of the 119th ranked cryptocurrency asset has increased by more than 7 percent in the last 24 hours.
Starknet surpassed Chainlink, the decentralized Oracle network (LINK) that registered 311,57 notable GitHub Events last month. Ethereum was second, with 219,13 events.
ERC-20 projects are a set of standards that allow developers to create tokens for the Ethereum Blockchain.
Santiment points out that the company doesn’t include routine updates, and uses a “better method” for collecting data on GitHub events based upon a “backtested procedure.”
The firm’s analysts have said in the past that a lot of development around a particular crypto project is indicating developers are confident about it. The development activity of a project also indicates that it is less likely to become an exit scam.
