According to Santiment, the crypto analytics platform, Chainlink is again ranked as the most active ERC-20 projects in recent times.
Santiment reports on social media platform X, that Chainlink recorded 649.03 noteworthy GitHub events over the last 30 days. This is nearly twice the number for the second-ranked Ethereum (ETH) project which clocked in at 342.2.
Decentralized oracle projects topped lists in September, June and July.
Status, the web3 project (SNT), ranked third over the last 30 days with 270.57 event registrations. Status is a web3 project that offers users secure messaging, a crypto wallet, and a web3 browser through an open-source protocol, peer-topeer, and end-toend encryption.
ERC-20 projects are a set of standards that allow developers to create tokens for the Ethereum virtual machine and blockchain.
Santiment points out that the company doesn’t include routine updates, and uses a “better method” for collecting data on GitHub events based upon a “backtested procedure.”
Analysts at the firm have said in previous reports that a high level of development around a cryptocurrency project is indicating developers’ faith in it. The development activity suggests the project has a lower likelihood of being an exit scam.
LINK was trading at $11.11 as of the time this article is written. In the last 24 hours, the 18th-ranked cryptocurrency asset by market capital has dropped more than 6 percent.
