Lightspark CEO David Marcus described President Donald Trump’s cryptocurrency plan as a “brand new day for crypto” in America. Marcus also spoke about the potential for the Trump administration’s crypto stockpile.

The experienced entrepreneur is hopeful that the regulatory climate under Trump will be different from previous administrations. He recalls his difficult experience under the previous regime. Marcus cited the government’s previous resistance as the reason his project was forced to cease operations.
Marcus has compared the crypto stance of the previous government with the initiatives taken by the Trump administration and believes there are many reasons to be optimistic. The Lightspark CEO pointed to ongoing regulatory discussions as well as talks about having a cryptocurrency stockpile, both of which are signs that the crypto industry is likely to grow under Trump.
Industry Momentum
Marcus claims that the current administration is going to spare no effort in order to ensure America’s leadership in a financial reformation set to reshape our system. He called it a “polarity switch” in atmosphere and energy, which gave him reason to be excited. The tech expert believes that the government is on the verge of restructuring the industry, and pulling the US back from the brink of falling behind in crypto matters.

Marcus drew an analogy between the proposed crypto-stockpile and the US gold reserves. Lightspark’s co-founder, Marcus, believes that Bitcoin is a better digital asset than gold and that the Trump government would be wise to allocate a portion of their gold reserve for the crypto stockpile. According to him Bitcoin offers more potential for appreciation in the coming decades than gold.
