io.net is a GPU decentralized cloud network that has formed a partnership with Phala Network in order to promote secure computing and decentralized AI.
This collaboration leverages io.net’s cloud platform, IO Cloud to give Phala Network access to high performance GPU hardware. It will also enhance its capability to support TEE CPU nodes (Trusted Execution environment).
This is an important step towards enabling advanced, secure AI computing within decentralized eco-systems.
Expanding Phala AI’s capabilities through GPU access
io.net GPU Cloud Service will enhance the AI computing capability of Phala Network. Phala Network relies on Nvidia’s H100 and H200 GPUs for its TEE Infrastructure.
Phala can access the GPUs needed to run computationally-intensive decentralized apps (apps) by integrating with io.net’s IO Cloud.
It is essential to have this access in order to run large AI models such as LLaMA 3 or Microsoft Phi. This will allow Phala Network’s decentralized AI system, Phala Network, the ability support these cutting edge AI systems.
Phala Network, a decentralized AI company, set a benchmark in August for GPUs with TEE.
Phala and io.net’s collaboration will improve its ability to manage sensitive AI workloads while ensuring advanced encryption protections.
The new network will help Phala achieve its mission to build a decentralized, secure and privacy-conscious AI-driven agent-driven web3 application.
Nvidia GPUs H100 to drive secure AI applications
The use of Nvidia H100 and Tensor Core H200 GPUs is a key component of this partnership.
The GPUs will be equipped with secure AI features like encrypted memory, secure boot and confidential computing.
Phala will be able to use these GPUs with high performance via io.net’s IO Cloud to deploy and train large AI models that have robust security features.
Phala Network, which launched its mainnet in 2021 has built an infrastructure consisting of more than 40,000 TEE nodes. This provides web3 developers secure off-chain computing capabilities.
The nodes are essential in maintaining security and privacy across decentralized systems, from AI-driven applications to social platforms.
Phala’s new partnership will allow it to continue scaling its AI capabilities, while maintaining its security focus.
AI is pushed forward by research and benchmarking
Phala Network and io.net will collaborate on research, testing and benchmarking.
The partners are aiming to expand the limits of AI decentralization by starting with Nvidia’s latest H100 and GPUs.
The research will involve integrating io.net GPU cloud network and the TEE hardware of Phala Network, as well as deploying autonomous AI agents.
The joint effort is aimed at providing a secure, scalable solution for AI decentralized applications.
IO Cloud is io.net’s GPU decentralized platform. It offers GPU clusters that are available on-demand, allowing users to save significant amounts of money compared with traditional cloud services.
IO Cloud enables AI Developers to Build, Test, and Deploy AI Models without the Need for Expensive Hardware or Complex Infrastructure.
