Unknown to the public, a 21-year old man from Indiana has just plead guilty on charges related to a cyber-intrusion that occurred in February 2022.

The hacker then used the information to gain unauthorized access to the PIIs for hundreds of clients. Eventually, he stole more than $37 million in crypto assets worth from 600 victims that held money with the investment company.
Light used gambling sites and services to disguise his identity, and conceal the assets he stole.
SaysU.S. Attorney Alison J. Ramsdell,
Light was accused of conspiracy to commit fraud by wire and conspiracy to laundering monetary instruments. According to the DOJ, he is accused of committing this crime along with other unidentified individuals.
