One of the top US banks has just revealed a breach of data that affected thousands of confidential and personal information.
Arvest Bank, based in Arkansas, filed a notice with the Office of the Maine attorney general to warn 7,537 customers after a glitch allowed unauthorized access.

According to the lender, sensitive information may include names, account numbers and balances, as well as account activities.
Arvest Bank offers credit monitoring services and recovery of identity to customers who have been affected by fraud.
Customers who are concerned that they may become a victim to fraud or theft of identity can also place a free security freeze on credit reports by contacting one of three nationwide credit reporting agencies – Equifax Experian TransUnion.
According to the Federal Reserve, Arvest Bank’s assets will reach nearly $27 billion by December 2024. This makes it the 72nd largest bank in the US.
